Mexicali Fresh Summer Jam finale

The 2019 Mexicali Fresh Summer Jam wrapped up on Saturday at HoopQuarters with Blue Chips and Gauchos getting the wins with almost identical score lines.

Gauchos beat Birdmen 106-102 whilst Blue Chips got the better of Railsplitters winning 103-102.

There were plenty of heavy scorers in both games topped by Southland Sharks guard TinasheMatambanadzo (42pts) and Rosmini College wing Sean Murphy (35pts).

Blue Chips 103– Sean Murphy 35, Dru Leo Leusage-Ape 24, Nick Barrow 17, Ollie Hayward 8

Railsplitters 102– Jaga Mete 33, Levick Kerr 18, Josh Leger 16, Alex McNaught 14

 

Gauchos 106– TinasheMatambanadzo 42, Denhym Brooke 19, Jaga mete 14, Dontae Russo-Nance 11, Ollie Hayward 10
