Despite a career high 26 points from Isaac Fotu, Ratiopharm Ulm stumbled to its fifth German League defeat of the season going down 98-83 at Oldenburg.
Fotu put together an impressive shooting display knocking down 10 from 12 shots from the field including both his efforts from beyond the three point arc. He was also 100% from the foul line hitting all four freebies.
Ulm is now 1-5 in the Bundesliga, a hugely disappointing start for last season’s regular season champions.
Corey Webster had an equally impressive display in the Israeli League scoring 21 points including 5 from 9 from the land of plenty as Ironi Nahariya came away from Hapoel Eilat with the spoils, winning 86-72.
Not content with a handy points haul the Tall Blacks shooting guard dished a game high 8 assists as Nahariya move to 2-1 in the early stages of the season.
Back in Germany, Frankfurt Skyliners picked up win number five with a tight 72-68 victory against Bayreuth.
Tai Webster had a quiet outing by his recent standards scoring just 8 points as the Skyliners improve to 5-1 for the campaign.
