Mika Vukona was in outstanding defensive forms as the Sky City Breakers overcame the Townsville Crocodiles , 84-70 at Vector arena on Friday night.
He made Brian Conklin’s night one to forget as The NBL’s leading scorer was reduced to a 1 from 13 shooting night.
He dished a couple of assists early in the game to take his total career assists to 500 and soon grabbed the single steal needed to top 200 career steals.
Vukona didn’t have his best shooting night, only knocking down three of seven attempts, and two of those were in the final sixty seconds of the game. However it was enough for him to move past 1800 points for the Breakers and at the same time pass Aaron Olson and move to 4th all time on the Breakers scoring list.
