The back court combination of Corey Webster and Cedric Jackson looks set to blossom this season. The NZ Breakers take on the Perth Wildcats on Friday and much will be expected of the duo. He will be just the 11th player to make 100 appearances for the club.
Corey Webster is due to play his 100th game for the club four games into the season.
The Cairns Taipans visit North Shore Events Centre on October 23rd and it will be fitting that Webster will bring up his century of appearances at the venue he has played most of his basketball. Having progressed through school (Westlake Boys) and age group representative (North Harbour) teams Webster has played literally hundreds of games at the NSEC.
It will be a while before Cedric Jackson plays 100 games for the club. He has managed 65 appearances so far but he has made a big impact in those matches. In two seasons he is already 4th all time in the Breakers assists and steals categories and first all time when viewed on a per game ratio.
