Two weeks after making his 350th NBL appearance Daryl Corletto is fast approaching another significant milestone. The Breakers opponents on Thursday are the Melbourne Tigers, Corletto’s former club and he requires just a further 13 points to top 3000 career points. Tom Abercrombie became just the fifth player to chalk up 100 victories in a Sky City Breakers uniform in the victory over the Wollongong Hawks in round 4 of the NBL. Coincidently, it has taken him 142 appearances to reach this milestone – the exact number of games as CJ Bruton. Continue reading

Wilkinson replaces Lazare at Breakers

The sudden move by the Sky City Breakers to replace import Darnell Lazare after just four appearances is not totally unexpected. Although the return of two-time championship winner Gary Wilkinson is a surprise it is one that will please Breakers fans. He will add scoring punch in a league that has become offensive orientated with the new refereeing interpretations implemented this season. A Good Week for the Boucher’s
